Lawson Gets BC Batter of the Month Trophy Friday, July 1st , 2078 At only 22 years of age, Matt Lawson could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Akron Pickets, as June was one to remember for the left fielder and he has captured the Beta Conference Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .439 with 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and 19 runs scored. Lawson is currently hitting at a .341 pace with 12 home runs and 41 RBIs. He has played in 72 games and scored 44 times. |
