Riddle Nabs BC #1 Pitcher Trophy Wednesday, July 1st , 2076 What Evan Riddle of the Chesapeake Rams did to Beta Conference hitters in June was criminal. He assaulted them, broke them and walked off leaving them lifeless and lost as he stole away with the Pitcher of the Month award for his barbaric behavior. "Riddle was truly dominant out there," an opposing hitter said to reporters. "He really made hitters miserable." The 25-year-old reliever threw 35.2 innings in no relief appearances as he registered no saves, 23 strikeouts, and notched a 5-0 record and 1.26 ERA for the month. So far this season, Riddle has a 8-4 won-lost record with no saves. He has made no relief appearances, logged 97.2 innings and fanned 66 batters while fashioning a 2.76 ERA and allowing the opposition a .224 batting average. |
