Riversharks Ruben Plascencia Wins AC Award Monday, July 8th , 2080 Ruben Plascencia is respected by most Wichita Riversharks fans for his no-frills style of play. The 23-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Alpha Conference Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .556 average (10-for-18) with 5 home runs, 9 RBIs and 9 runs scored. Thus far this year, Plascencia has hit .256 with 11 home runs and 33 RBIs. |
