Players Take It on Chin, Lose, 10-0, to Joliet Friday, June 24th , 2078 The Quahog Players met their match today in Joliet hurler Alexis Cosme. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 2-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Quahog skipper said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 10-0 victory, Cosme whiffed 4 and gave up 1 walk. To date this season, Cosme has compiled a 4-7 record with a 5.14 ERA in 15 starts. View Boxscore |
