Gaitan Clobbers 3 HR Against Sun Devils Saturday, June 6th , 2076 Arlington first baseman Alex Gaitan blasted three homers today at Ballpark of Arlington in the 12-5 Mallards victory over the San Bernadino Sun Devils. For the game, Alex Gaitan scored 3 times and knocked in 7 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Gaitan when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 4-for-4, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Gaitan told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Alex Gaitan singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Marco Flores in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Marco Flores in the 5th, walked in a run in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th. Currently Gaitan is batting .246 with 6 home runs and 32 RBIs. |
