Morales Records 4-0 Shutout Against Calgary Friday, June 5th , 2076 Before the game, Rafael Morales said he liked his chances. His instincts proved to be right. In a superb outing at Calgary Center, the Texicans pitcher whitewashed the Calgary Cannons 4-0. "I just had a feeling it was going to be my day," Morales said in the clubhouse afterward. "My control was awesome. I could throw my fastball even when I was behind in the count." The San Antonio starter held Calgary scoreless, giving up 5 hits while registering 2 strikeouts and issuing 2 walks. "We didn't have very many good at-bats," Cannons manager said in a postgame interview. "When that happens, you usually lose." So far this season Morales has a 3-4 record with a 2.70 ERA.
