Alpha Conference Names Bickel Best Batter Monday, May 30th , 2078 The Alpha Conference has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Eric Bickel, first baseman of the Rochester Reds. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .545 pace to win the award. Bickel went 12-for-22 for the week, totaled 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and scored 8 times. In the current season, Bickel has put up a .283 batting average with 43 hits, 8 home runs, 32 runs batted in and scored 22 runs. |
