AC Trophy Goes to Lacher of Norfolk Monday, June 3rd , 2080 Alpha Conference pitchers will attest that it was tough to get Matt Lacher of the Norfolk Thorns out last week. His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week. The 31-year-old third baseman boasted a .500 average with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Lacher went 9-for-18 for the week. In 50 games this year, Lacher has posted a .244 average and put up these numbers: 10 home runs, 29 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
