Castiglione Wins BC Player of the Week Monday, May 27th , 2080 The top batter in the Beta Conference last week was Axel Castiglione, who batted .444 and towered above everybody with a 7-game hitting barrage. During the week Castiglione banged out a .444 batting average (12-for-27), 1 home run, 8 runs batted in and scored 10 runs. Today the Huntington Beach second baseman received the BC Player of the Week Award. Castiglione is batting .312 this year with 1 home run, 13 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has 29 hits in 93 at-bats. |
