Flores Fires 8-0 Shutout in Sun Devils Win Wednesday, May 18th , 2078 The Hialeah Boomers met their match today in San Bernadino hurler Marco Flores. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 5-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Hialeah skipper said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 8-0 victory, Flores whiffed 7 and gave up 1 walk. Flores has made 10 starts, tossed 59.2 innings, struck out 51 batters and walked 26.
