Roman Shuts Out Spinners Friday, May 24th , 2080 The Riverside Spinners met their match today in Anaheim hurler Victor Roman. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 3-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Riverside skipper said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 5-0 victory, Roman whiffed 10 and gave up 5 walks.
