Red Wings Ed Rice to Miss Year Friday, April 19th , 2080 Ed Rice has to call it a season. The Saint Petersburg Red Wings first baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Wichita Riversharks and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Rice was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a damaged elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 9-10 months. |
