Flores Selected BC Player of the Week Monday, July 31st , 2079 Pitchers who faced the Akron Pickets last week were happy to see Willie Flores in the rear-view mirror. The 27-year-old left fielder was dubbed the Beta Conference Player of the Week for a 7-game tear that saw him hit at a .429 clip. For the week he also chalked up 15 hits in 35 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Flores is currently batting .410 with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs. |
