Flores Clips Sea Serpents for Cycle Sunday, July 30th , 2079 Today at Field of the Sea Serpents, Akron Pickets left fielder Willie Flores accomplished a true baseball rarity, knocking a single, double, triple and a home run to hit for the cycle and lead the Pickets to a win, 4-1, over the Jersey City Sea Serpents. In a standout performance, Flores laced 4 hits in 5 at-bats and had 2 RBI. "I felt good before the game, I felt good during it, and I feel great now," Flores told reporters. Willie Flores singled in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jay Green in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.
