Season Ends for Caleb Zwickey of Calgary Monday, July 12th , 2083 Caleb Zwickey has to call it a season. The Calgary Cannons starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Moreno Valley Blaze and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Zwickey was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a damaged elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 14 months. Zwickey has posted a 4-9 record for the year with a 4.90 ERA. Teams are hitting .283 against him and he has rung up 86 strikeouts in 93.2 innings. |
