Jiang Fires Shutout in Huntington Beach Victory Thursday, July 20th , 2079 In a seemingly effortless performance, Tao Jiang of the Huntington Beach Drummers shot down the Akron Pickets, 8-0, on 6 hits. "Tao was just locating so well and using his pitches," Huntington Beach manager said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Jiang recorded 12 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Akron manager said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
