Sun Devils Buried - Out of Playoffs Thursday, July 20th , 2079 Manny Alaniz said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the San Bernadino Sun Devils after they missed the RSL Triple A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Sun Devils have missed the playoffs 62 times in their 66 years as a RSL Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 40th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2039. San Bernadino last won the League Championship in 2039. |
