Big Bat Pays Off, Bak Player of the Week Monday, July 17th , 2079 Mike Bak burst onto the Alpha Conference stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie first baseman for Riverside garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 24-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .440 (11-for-25) with 3 home runs and 9 RBIs last week. Thus far this season, Bak is hitting .302 with 23 home runs, 65 RBIs and 42 runs scored. He has 96 hits in 318 at-bats and has played in 86 games. |
