Silver Earns June's Top Batter Prize in AC Saturday, July 1st , 2079 For a rookie just breaking in, Pete Silver certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the AC Batter of the Month award for June. The 24-year-old left fielder for the Norfolk Thorns hit .357 with 7 home runs, 17 RBIs and 24 runs scored. This year, Silver has hit at a .318 clip with 67 hits, 16 home runs, 40 RBIs and 49 runs scored. |
