Izazaja Fires Shutout in San Antonio Victory
Friday, June 16th , 2079
Hector Izazaja was in a mood to talk following the San Antonio Texicans contest against the San Bernadino Sun Devils, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Sun Devils, 7-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Izazaja said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The right-hander blanked San Bernadino on a 3-hitter, allowing 1 walk and racking up 7 strikeouts.
So far in 11 appearances this season, Izazaja has recorded 3 wins and sustained 4 losses. He has pitched 70.2 innings, yielded 60 hits, fanned 61 and has a 2.17 ERA.
