Fernandez Hitless, Streak Ends at 20 Tuesday, May 18th , 2083 The Spinners stopped Alfredo Fernandez's 20-game hitting streak at Spinners Ballpark, but they couldn't stop the Quahog Players, falling by the score of 1-0. Fernandez didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-4. "It's just as well," Players manager said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him."
