Fernandez Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Saturday, May 15th , 2083 Alfredo Fernandez, third baseman for the Quahog Players, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 13-7 victory over the Guadalajara Charros at Charros Ballpark. "Not the outcome we wanted," Guadalajara manager said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Alfredo Fernandez grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, struck out in the 8th, singled in the 10th and hit a two-run double in the 10th.
