Canio Belts 5 Hits Saturday, August 20th, 2067 It takes more than one player to win a baseball game - as proven by Calvino Canio of the Fremont Roadsters. The Fremont left fielder gave it his all and dominated Rochester Reds pitching today at Ballpark of Fremont, finishing with a great 5-for-6 line. However, when the game ended, the scoreboard showed the Reds going home the winner, 16-15. "There's no point gloating about a 5-hit day in a loss," Canio said later. "A loss just means you should have done more. Maybe I should have hit 5 home runs instead." Calvino Canio hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
