McCray Goes Cycling Saturday, September 5th , 2076 In an outing that will go down in the annals of baseball history, Alaska left fielder Ryan McCray hit for the cycle today as the Kodiaks marched to victory over the Denver Glaciers, 9-8. McCray collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, including 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. He added 4 runs batted in and 2 runs scored to help Alaska take the Mountain Dew Park contest. "It was the last thing on my mind, really," McCray said. "I'm out there trying to get a blooper or a walk or whatever might help the team. Even if I had wanted to, hitting for the cycle is probably as much about luck as about skill anyway." Ryan McCray tripled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, struck out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Nick Vetter in the 8th.
