Luis Valenzuela Hurt, Out for Year Sunday, August 30th , 2076 Vancouver Wolves starting pitcher Luis Valenzuela suffered a damaged elbow ligament during a recent game with the Las Vegas Aces and will miss 13-14 months. Valenzuela told BNN, "I hurt it throwing a pitch. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say." To date this season, Valenzuela has a record of 6 wins and 12 losses and a 4.83 ERA. He has appeared in 27 games and struck out 91 in 141.2 innings. |
