Cooke Slams 3 Deep for San Francisco
Sunday, August 28th , 2078
San Francisco third baseman Riley Cooke led the Friars to a triumph, 12-5, over the Phoenix Thunderbirds, crushing three home runs.
"He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said San Francisco skipper Jeremy Cooan.
Indeed, Cooke put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 4 hits in 5 at-bats with 3 runs and 8 RBIs.
"I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Cooke said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em."
Riley Cooke flied out in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Matt Nyholm in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off John Intriago in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off John Intriago in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
Thus far this year, Cooke is hitting .281 with 22 home runs, 80 RBIs and 68 runs scored.
