EC Player of the Week Awarded Monday, August 17th , 2076 The baseball must have looked as big as a balloon to Jacob Testaverde of Brooklyn last week. The first baseman had quite a 6-game stretch and today he was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Testaverde delivered 10 hits in 27 at-bats to hit .370 with 4 home runs and 9 RBIs. So far this season, Testaverde has recorded a .292 batting average with 85 hits, 14 home runs, 52 RBIs, 51 runs scored and a .388 OBP. |
