Star of the Week Named in EC Monday, August 26th , 2080 Yozo Mori is respected by most Santiago Avispas fans for his no-frills style of play. The 26-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .440 average (11-for-25) with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 3 runs scored. So far this season, Mori is hitting .255 with 12 home runs. |
