Vikings Send Street to Tucson Sunday, August 2nd , 2076 The Vikings and Toros pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 33-year old LHP Kevin Street head to Tucson in exchange for 21-year old minor league CF Sergio Justiniano, 23-year old minor league RHP Micah Schull, and a 2nd round draft pick. A source close to Minneapolis officials said, "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." Minneapolis will retain a portion of Street's remaining contract. Presently Street has a 5-6 mark in 18 starts with a 4.27 ERA. He has given up 106 hits in 99 innings, struck out 82 and issued 38 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .275 batting average against him. |
