Klinker Is July's Top Starter Saturday, August 1st , 2076 Cookie Klinker of Los Angeles had a tremendous July with a 4-0 mark and was chosen the Pitcher of the Month in the Western Conference. Klinker restricted opposing hitters to 25 base hits and a .179 batting average. He rang up 48 strikeouts in 40.2 innings of work, surrendered 13 walks, and crafted a 2.66 ERA.
