Big Month Brings in EC Top Rookie Trophy Sunday, October 1st , 2079 Matt Salmon earned September's Rookie of the Month honors in the Eastern Conference for last month's performance. The boyish Toronto left fielder might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Salmon hit .275 with 11 home runs, 30 RBIs and 18 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. For the season, Salmon has produced 177 hits in 627 at-bats for a .282 average with 59 home runs and gotten on base at a .331 clip. |
