Hitting Streak Still Alive for Zeeff Friday, September 29th , 2079 Brian Zeeff, shortstop for the Las Vegas Aces, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 3 hits in his club's 7-4 victory over the San Antonio Angels at Tesoro Stadium. "Not the outcome we wanted," San Antonio manager Brandon Coroian said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Brian Zeeff singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. Currently Zeeff has 10 home runs and a .281 batting average. |
