Tucson Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Friday, September 10th , 2083 It has been a woeful season for the Tucson Toros and now they have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. "You always need some things to break your way to get into the playoffs," said manager Rick Barnes. "And nothing broke our way this year." This is the club's 3rd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2080. In total, the Toros have missed the playoffs 82 times in their 94-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Toros have made the playoffs 2 times. |
