Cyclones Apolinar to Miss Year Saturday, September 23rd , 2079 Pete Apolinar is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Miami organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 5 months with shoulder inflammation. The 25-year-old shortstop suffered the injury throwing the ball in a recent game against the Montreal Harfangs. Thus far this year, Apolinar is batting .278 with 6 home runs, 63 RBIs and 59 runs scored. |
