Liu Belts Bunch of Base Hits Sunday, September 10th , 2079 All game long, Phoenix's Tan Liu was rattling the walls at Legednary Park and banging out base hits against the Tucson Toros. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Thunderbirds had a win, 10-2. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 30-year-old second baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Tan Liu singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Juan Casanas in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a two-run triple in the 7th.
