Big 3-HR Day for Thaxton Sunday, September 3rd , 2079 Tim Thaxton showed off his power as he launched three balls into the seats against the San Diego Destroyers and sparked the Arrows to a win, 17-12. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Power Ballpark." For the day, Thaxton collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 6 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Seattle skipper Dr. Jay Siber said. "Tim really put on a show." Tim Thaxton hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Tom Parmenter in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Santos Gomez in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off John Huberty in the 6th.
