St. Louis Loses Tsuneteru Shimada, Will Miss Season Tuesday, August 10th , 2083 It was announced today in St. Louis that Gaedels first baseman Tsuneteru Shimada will be on the mend for 11 months because of a ruptured medial collateral ligament he sustained in a recent game against the Toronto Juggernauts. Shimada was injured running the bases. This season, Shimada is batting .290 with 20 RBIs, 32 runs scored and 6 home runs. |
