"It means I'm wanted somewhere. At least one team sees potential in me." Those were the comments heard after the Denver Glaciers came to an agreement to deal 25-year old RHP John Parseghian, 21-year old RHP Antonio Rubio, 19-year old LF Matt Linkous, 20-year old RHP Ken Shearn, and a 1st round draft pick to the Tucson Toros for 28-year old RHP Taxi Sabala earlier today. The deal is expected to be formally announced later this evening. Sabala has posted a 6-9 record for the year with a 3.67 ERA. Teams are hitting .252 against him and he has rung up 97 strikeouts in 120 innings. |
