Kodiaks Trade Wooten to Angels for Yerges Sunday, July 21st , 2080 It is being reported in San Antonio that the Angels and the Alaska Kodiaks have agreed on a trade. According to anonymous sources 31-year old LF Dave Yerges will be dealt to the Kodiaks in return for 27-year old LF Brian Wooten, 26-year old LHP Marco Ramirez, 26-year old RHP Filiberto Ciriaco, 21-year old minor league LHP Ricky Renta, 22-year old minor league RHP Finlay Kehoe, 21-year old minor league LHP Armando Montoya, a 2nd round draft pick, and a 5th round draft pick. For the season, Wooten is hitting at a .314 clip with 15 home runs, 53 RBIs and has scored 48 runs. He has 109 hits, 27 walks and a .374 on-base percentage. This season, Yerges is batting .215 with 62 hits, 27 home runs, 54 RBIs, 61 walks, .364 OBP and has scored 52 runs. He has played in 84 games. |
