Chicago Deals Cisar to Denver for Nie Sunday, July 21st , 2080 BNN has learned the Chicago Phantoms have reportedly worked out a deal with the Denver Glaciers. Sources close to the Phantoms indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 29-year old LHP Su-shun Nie, 21-year old RHP Michinaga Sakamoto, and 23-year old LHP John Gulley will be swapped to Chicago with 26-year old LHP Dylan Cisar heading to Denver. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. So far this season, Cisar has logged a 6-3 record with a 3.90 ERA. He has started 19 games, hurled 97 innings and registered 98 strikeouts and 38 walks. This year, Nie has compiled a 4-8 record with a 3.38 ERA in 19 starts. |
