Phantoms Matoska Suffers Setback Saturday, July 11th , 2076 Team doctors reported that the pace of recovery for Mike Matoska has been hampered by several recent setbacks and they have reassessed his injury situation. If all goes well, the Chicago Phantoms catcher should rejoin the club in 5 weeks. Matoska is suffering from a strained groin muscle. This year Matoska has collected a .256 batting average to date with 41 hits in 160 at-bats, 16 RBIs, 5 home runs and scored 12 times. He has played in 47 games. |
