Rouse Hits in 20 Straight Games Tuesday, July 16th , 2080 Joel Rouse of the Minneapolis Vikings extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 1 hit in today's 4-0 triumph over the Alaska Kodiaks at Tundradome. "Joel has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Vikings manager Ace Cooan joked after the game. Joel Rouse grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and struck out in the 8th. So far this season, Rouse has hit .299 with 4 home runs, 34 RBIs and scored 45 times. |
