Klinker's Season Could be Over Tuesday, July 16th , 2080 Playoff hopes of Phantoms player Cookie Klinker have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the starting pitcher suffered a bone spur in his elbow throwing a pitch in today's game against Havana Metropolitanos. Klinker is expected to miss up to 5 months, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs. To date Klinker is 5-7 in 17 starts with a 3.41 ERA and has 93 strikeouts in 92.1 innings. |
