Portland (E), Washington Trade Players Sunday, July 3rd , 2078 Everybody is overjoyed with a trade consummated today by the Portland (E) Lobster and the Washington Senators. In the deal Portland (E) got 27-year old 3B Emilio Oregon from Washington and dealt 20-year old minor league LHP Zenjiro Koga, 18-year old minor league RHP Ian Huycke, and a 1st round draft pick to the Senators. The general managers that made the swap are happy and the players are happy, too. One of the GMs commented, "This was a good swap for all concerned." At present, Oregon is batting .184 and has collected 11 home runs, 35 RBIs, .339 OBP and scored 30 runs. |
