Trade: Portillo for Garza Sunday, July 3rd , 2078 Minneapolis and Denver have agreed in principle to a trade. The Vikings will send 31-year old LHP Billy Portillo to the Glaciers for 23-year old LHP Ti-an Fang and 19-year old RHP Bill Garza. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete. Minneapolis will retain a portion of Portillo's remaining contract. To date this year, Portillo has won 2 and lost 2 with a 3.20 ERA, 2 saves and 44 strikeouts in 39 relief appearances. |
