Greens Trade Sandoval to Athletics for Fridy Sunday, July 5th , 2076 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Greens and Athletics have agreed to a swap. Kansas City will get 27-year old RHP Victor Pargas, 32-year old CF Angel Sandoval, a 1st round draft pick, and a 3rd round draft pick with Boston receiving 37-year old RHP Michael Fridy in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. So far this season Sandoval is batting .153 with 3 home runs. This year Fridy has worked 91.1 innings with 90 strikeouts en route to a 6-5 record and a 2.66 ERA. |
