Deal: Samsel for Davila Sunday, July 5th , 2076 The Senators and Athletics have been engaged in a little wheeling and dealing. They have just concluded a trade with 28-year old RHP Justin Samsel and 19-year old RHP Gerald Tanton going to Kansas City in exchange for 31-year old SS Daviel Davila. Kansas City will retain a portion of Davila's remaining contract. So far this season Samsel has a record of 4-1 with 48 strikeouts and 13 walks in 72.1 innings and a 3.73 ERA. Davila currently has a .305 batting average with 78 hits, 8 homers, 37 RBIs, 36 runs scored and a .388 OBP. |
