Seattle-Las Vegas Announce Deal Sunday, July 14th , 2080 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Seattle and Las Vegas have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 32-year old RHP Steve Grantham, 32-year old RHP Aaron Hendsbee, 21-year old RHP Dave Fife, 27-year old RHP Kian McMullan, 24-year old RHP Roberto Sotomayor, and 18-year old 2B Brian Green to the Aces with 26-year old RHP Arturo Covarrubias joining the Arrows. Seattle general manager Dr. Jay Siber would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. This year, his stats show Grantham has 1 save in 32 relief appearances with a 3-3 record and 5.40 ERA. On his stats sheet for the year Covarrubias shows a 6-8 record, 18 starts, 116 innings, 91 strikeouts and a 3.96 ERA. |
