Kansas City Sends Rexwinkel to Alaska Sunday, June 28th , 2076 Kansas City and Alaska announced some roster changes today as the Athletics acquired 19-year old LF Alex Diaz, 20-year old LF Hisatoshi Morita, 29-year old LF Jason Mason, 21-year old 2B Jake Doctor, and a 4th round draft pick from the Kodiaks in exchange for 29-year old 2B Roger Rexwinkel. Representatives from both teams say they are pleased with the deal. Kansas City will retain a portion of Rexwinkel's remaining contract. So far this season Rexwinkel has hit .312 with 1 home run, 27 RBIs and scored 37 times. Mason has a career .230 average with 531 hits, including 121 doubles, 18 triples and 23 homers, collected 198 RBIs, scored 260 runs and compiled a .288 OBP. |
