Ontiveros and Flores Dealt Sunday, July 7th , 2080 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Seattle and Santiago have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 22-year old LHP Raul Ontiveros, a 3rd round draft pick, and a 6th round draft pick to the Avispas with 26-year old LHP Fidel Flores joining the Arrows. Seattle general manager Dr. Jay Siber would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. For the year, Flores has collected 1 save in 35 relief appearances. He has also notched 46 strikeouts and 7 walks in 42 innings while registering a 4.07 ERA and a 3-1 won-lost record. |
